KALO IQ outreach credits explained: how they work

Outreach credits are the monthly allowance of creator emails you can send through KALO IQ. Here is exactly how they are counted, what your plan includes and how to make the most of your monthly allocation.

What counts as one outreach credit

One outreach credit is used when you send an initial outreach message to a creator whose contact email you access through KALO IQ. Follow-up messages to the same creator in the same campaign do not count as additional credits. Credits reset on your monthly billing date.

Credits cover: accessing the creator's email address, sending the first outreach message through the KALO IQ platform. They do not cover: searching the database, saving creators to lists, viewing profiles or sending messages to creators you already have email addresses for from previous campaigns.

Credits per plan

Starter: 100 credits per month. Enough for 2-3 focused campaign outreach batches.

Growth: 500 credits per month. Enough for regular campaign cadence with multiple creators per campaign.

Agency: 2,000 credits per month. Enough for agencies managing outreach across multiple client campaigns simultaneously.

What happens when you run out

When you reach your monthly credit limit, KALO IQ pauses outreach sending. You can see your remaining credits in Settings > Usage. You will not be charged an overage automatically. You can either wait for the monthly reset or upgrade to a higher plan to increase your limit immediately.

Plan for your credit usage before starting a campaign outreach batch. If you have 100 credits and plan to contact 80 creators, you will have 20 credits remaining for follow-ups or new prospects that month.

How to manage your monthly credits

Review your credit balance in Settings > Usage before each outreach batch. For campaigns where you have a strong shortlist, prioritise the highest-fit creators first. Reserve 20-30 credits for follow-ups and unexpected prospects that come in mid-month.

If you consistently run out of credits before your billing date, Growth at 500 credits is the right upgrade. Credits roll over with a plan upgrade - you get the new plan's full allocation from the upgrade date.
