Creator gifting checklist: everything to prepare before the package goes out

A gifting package that arrives damaged, to the wrong address or missing a personalised note is a gifting failure before the creator even opens it. This checklist covers everything to confirm before any product seeding package ships.

Before you ship (creator side)

Creator has confirmed they want to receive the package (do not ship without confirmation)
Correct shipping address confirmed in writing - do not use an address from a public bio or previous campaign without re-confirming
Creator has confirmed the correct name to address the package to (stage name versus legal name matters for signature-required deliveries)
Delivery timeline communicated - creator knows roughly when to expect it
Any product preferences or restrictions confirmed (allergies for food/skincare, size preferences for apparel)

Package preparation

Product selected and quality-checked - the package a creator receives should be the best version of your product
Handwritten note prepared - specific to this creator, references their content, no obligation language if gifting without paid commitment
Brand card or insert included with product story and any key messages you want the creator to know
Packaging presentation matches your brand standard - tissue, branded box or mailer, ribbon if appropriate to your brand aesthetic
If paid campaign: UTM tracking link included on a card in the package with clear instructions
If paid campaign: brief document included or link to brief provided in the package note
